Lead/Follow

To lead you may not need people walking behind you...

By following I do not mean that you are walking behind someone...

So what exactly am I pointing to you..

When somebody shouting at you in a market or public place, we normally do shout back don't we? isn't that following the other person's(who started shouting at us) path that we are following?

While driving at our normal economy speed and suddenly someone over takes our vehicle, we fight back and rush towards that vehicle to over take it. Isn't that following?

What I'm trying to say that it is more threat that we follow others thoughts/choices blindly which alters our character for a while if not permanently.

The term To Lead I use here doesn't mean that you should have followers, nor that it mean you require the talent of a leader. Everyone is born capable of leading themselves. So in situation like those can't we think better and show our own character rather than following the other persons path?

Rather than shouting back can't I think "how would I react to the situation if I were at the other persons place"? and then react.

If I had chose to drive carefully and in a steady economic manner why should I alter my decision when someone over takes us?

words does have a lot contextual meaning all it depends on is how you look at it, isn't it?

Define your selfs and let the definition lead you, stop following other persons decisions without having a second thought about it.

As always friends do leave comments, it does help me a lot.
